The auto industry is full of tough tasks... Now Ford has its own daunting task: trying to sell hardcore pickup truck fans on an F-150 with a turbo. Remember, the F-150 is not a pickup you want to trifle with. It's the nation's best selling vehicle -- not just pickup -- for decades. And a lot of its buyers are hidebound pickup truck guys, suspicious of change or fads. Performance and trailer towing might are more important to them than gas mileage. So it's no surprise that Ford is embarking on a giant campaign to try to get butts in the seats of their new pickups -- 20,000 of them -- before the pickup arrives at dealerships.
